We are thrilled to report that our steers and cows have arrived in Big Bear, and are currently resting and getting acclimated to our altitude. We will kick off our cattle program with three nights of Introduction to Cattle Work (101, 102, and 103), starting June 22nd, followed by sessions June 29th, and July 2nd. The goal is to allow you and your horse or mule to be confidently introduced (or re-introduced) to cattle. These sessions will take place at a quiet pace in the big arena, with the goal of preparing you to start sorting later in the season. Cost is $25 per rider. This is not a “ram ’em and jam ’em” session, and you will be allowed to work at your own pace.
